Elizabeth Satterthwaite is a shareholder of Satterthwaite Malayil Legal Group, P.C. She has over 20 years experience as a real estate and corporate transactional attorney both in private practice and in-house. Her practice includes shopping center acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, financings, general business law matters, construction, management and development agreements, private placements, corporate restructurings, title and survey review, litigation management and general business and real estate law matters.
Ms. Satterthwaite was formerly Deputy General Counsel at Westfield, LLC where she was directly responsible for shopping center acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, all financing transactions, private placements, corporate restructurings and running a legal department. Prior to joining Westfield, she was an associate at the Los Angeles office of O’Melveny & Myers LLP. Ms. Satterthwaite has unique experience as she is both a business person and an experienced lawyer. She is capable of advising on every matter pertinent to a to a real estate company from standard landlord/tenant disputes and CAM disputes to helping a company find financing, negotiating and drafting complicated joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions.

Stephanie Malayil is a shareholder of Satterthwaite Malayil Legal Group, P.C. She is an experienced real estate attorney with over 20 years of commercial transactional experience. Her practice includes commercial leasing, including restaurant, theater, big box, ground leases and inline leases, as well as office leases. In addition to an expertise in commercial leasing, Ms. Malayil advises clients on various other commercial real estate matters.
Ms. Malayil was formerly Assistant Vice President – Lease Administration at Macerich (NYSE). While with Macerich she was directly responsible for drafting, negotiating, and closing 100+ commercial leases annually, deals which included restaurant, theater, big box, ground leases and inline leases, as well as office leases. She has a proven ability to get deals done in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
Ms. Malayil is a member of the California State Bar, the Minnesota State Bar and the State Bar of Arizona. She is a graduate of the University of Tulsa, College of Law, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and received her B.A. from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. Contact Ms. Malayil
